Desert Splendour was established in 2008 with a single plantaion of Jojoba of 90 acre in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Today it is the largest private palntation in the country with the addition of a second plantation in 2016 of another 14 acres.

In 2021 we started an initiative to go completely green for all our farm activities including production of jojoba oil and staff housing. In June of 2021 our entire irrigation systems, Nursery and staff housing went onto using 100% solar energy. In January of 2022 we moved our entire extraction unit onto solar energy, becoming one of the few cosmetic companies in India to be environmentally friendly and carbon neutral. We are pleased to say that each drop of pure Jojoba is now made with renewal energy.
